Celebrating 50 years of making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, through caring, in-depth Bible study.
Join the celebration by sharing your CBS story and supporting the next 50 years of ministry.
Community Bible Study is a 30-week Bible study where people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome and different denominational beliefs are respected.
Since its beginning in 1975, the philosophy of CBS has always been to be an every-person’s Bible study, available to all.
Our CBS class welcomes women and children from every background, status, and walk of life. Everyone will be cared for in a comfortable environment with love and respect. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each woman and the older kids will receive a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching.

We are currently finishing the study of Psalms.
The 2026-2027 study will be:
Christian Living: This 12-week study of Philemon; 1, 2, and 3 John; and Jude contains plenty of practical guidance for living the Christ-centered life. The letters were written to encourage Christians to live lives of truth and love in the midst of cultures that did not necessarily embrace either. Class members will learn how to deal with false teachers, how to be sure of their salvation, and much more in this highly relevant course.
1st & 2nd Peter: In these two letters, the apostle Peter offered encouragement to followers of Christ who were living as exiles and being persecuted for their faith. These books exhort believers to hope and godly living. They teach about godly relationships and warn about false teachers. They point to Jesus as our example in suffering and faith, and remind us that true security can be found only in God.
Colossians: Colossians is a letter written to combat error in the church. Paul pointed the believers at Colossae to Jesus as the Head of His body, the church. Paul also told the Colossian believers that they had fullness in Christ. The questions in this course are thought provoking and challenging.
